    Tire Pressure Sensors

    Question for Ramman84: Where are the Tire Pressure Sensors located ? my right front has quit reading again.

    2nd question: I have noticed some mornings when I take off the 4WD sensor light comes on and goes off like its trying to go back and forth into 4WD and the panek in the dash will go back and forth. . I'm guessing this is probably a ground wire issue. you ever seen this before?

    Sensors are in each tire. The 4wd do you have a switch on the dash or a lever on the floor?

    took it in for the Trans and tie rod recall, the tech checked it out and found the range sensor to be flaky causing the 4WD errors.. damn I'm glad thats all it was.

    On our Volvo's the TPM aka tire pressure management has a huge clamp around the middle of the rim with the sensor attached to it. Not sure if you ran the tire flat and could of damaged the sensor. not sure of a fix other then to take it in and get it calibrated or replaced. If you had the tire repaired its possible that whoever repaired the tire might not have been careful removing and reinstalling the tire. As for the 4wheel drive problem on my Chevy its a problem with the solder on the pcm cracking and needs to be resolder and or replaced. Just a heads up so you don't get screwed in them telling you the transfer case needs replacing or some BS. Good luck.
