Got some real photos from my dad in the mail today. Figured Reddog would like this one from out at trees.
My brain is a bit foggy now a days but I think this was the Midnighters 19th anny run.
Now matter when it was a Midnighters run was and always are the best.

Bored, cruising through old threads. Missing the old tx4x4 site. Man, that was a hopping place to be a part of. People building rigs, fixing rigs, wheelin rigs, selling rigs, shittalkin about each others rigs....... then along comes facebook.......... I miss the old days.

yup.. sometimes I regret selling Texas4x4, but I sold it at the right time. Book of faces has killed a lot of forums, which puzzles me in some ways. its really hard to go back in FB and find old threads or discussions, sometimes it impossible. however that must not be that big a deal to the majority as people left the forums for FB and instagram in droves. FB makes it really easy to post pics and video which is a plus, but what's lost in ideas, discussions, projects and more negates ( for me anyway) the ease of pic and video uploading.

I still don't have a Facebook and haven't been on the Gram in a minute as the kids say. Still come here to show off my raggedy ass XJ.

Why do we all complain about missing the old wheeling days when we can just get out there and wheel? I say plan it and make it happen. Even if you don’t have a rig I say come on out and have a drink at least. I remember plenty of runs where peoples rigs were busted and they still showed up to hangout. I am always willing to head back to Texas for some wheeling.

I think we all need some stockish 💩 boxes. 40s and tons take all the fun and talent out of wheelin.

Well I am headed to Caballo Lake this weekend to run some chili challenge trails. Wish some of you boys could come join. Let’s plan for something late October or early November.
Sounds good, I need a cpl weeks heads up so I can take off work. This weekend is out for us tho. We are taking my Sisters ashes to East Texas.
