Bucket List Races (Desert)

So, as I sit here, in a giant ass desert, knowing that the NORRA Mexican 1000 is underway, it has me daydreaming. There are a few races that I would like to race. It will, more than likely, take several years to check each one off the list, but still, setting goals. I will list them, in no particular order. I know there are many many other races, but these are the big ones that I want to try. One benefit to being over here is, it helps me get my finances in order. I know that I will have to deploy, probably 2 more times. That will help further my financial effort to make these races. Entry fees are relatively expensive, which, combined with maintenance and repairs is why it will take a few years to hit each of these.

I know this isn't the proper "forum" for this discussion, but I have known most of you longer than anyone on any other site. I'm bored and daydreaming. I'm deciding which parts to order first, to get the car race ready again. Anyway, whatever input you have, I will entertain.

Help me pass my time away from home! LOL

List of races
SCORE Baja 1000
NORRA Mexican 1000
BITD Vegas to Reno
BITD Parker 425
Mint 400

SCORE 1,000 is definitely the top of the list fallowed closely by the Mint. Lest with the Mint it’s a lap race, 1,000 seems like a logistical nightmare.
Oh do they still do the Mint whiskey bottles for trophies?

I know enough folks that have ran it that I can get advice from. Knowing fuel consumption is a big part. From there, strategically placing tires at the appropriate pits is a challenge. Two chase vehicles is a current obstacle.

Most races are lap courses, except in Mexico.

Not sure about the Mint trophy.
