So this past Sunday, I smushed my fanger... on a ladder pulling dead limbs from the hickory tree, one fell just righ and cut the end of my index finger damn near slap off. just below the nail, shattered the bone.. ER doc put in 10 stitches to reattach it. needless to say, that kinda smarted. gotta 8:30 in the AM with a bone Dr.

Damn, I would have passed the fawk out. Smashing fingers hurts more than a broken leg, arm, collar bone, compound fractures, and broken jaw. Ask how I know. hahah

yes it do....Reddog told me to put some glue on it, suck it up and get back to work.. .gotta love that guy :flipoff: haha

Went to the hand specialist this morning, they looked at it said hmmmm ummm uh huh a few times, re-xrayed it and pronounced I need surgery on it a week from today. I said why, he showed me some pics on his phone that resembled my finger and said they see 2 pcs in the pic that do not look normal, like maybe a tree fragment and they want to open it up and wash it out again. When I went to the ER Sunday, and had it sewn back on I watched to guy wash it for over 5 minutes.. .there ain't anything in there other than meat n blood. I asked what if I don't have the surgery, he said if the bone gets infected they will need to amputate below the next knuckle. .I told him ok, I've seen lonesome dove. right now I'm on the fence about getting this surgery.

You have extra. I hate doctors and I damn sure hate surgery. Hope it all works out and for a speedy recovery.

Reddog damn sure would have laughed at me when I hit the floor.

Ouch. After i cut my hand off and 4 tendons almost 20 years ago. I don't have the stomach for these things like I used to. And what makes it worse is my sister is a nurse and wants to show us these types of things all the time.

lol opps. That should have been after i almost cut my hand off. Lol. My bad. But yes 20 years ago when I was still in the field I had a 36”x36”x12” junction box fall on my hand and almost cut from my thumb up off. Ended up cutting 4 tendons in half. All good now after a good surgeon but have a scare still to show off.
