I stopped at Raymonds BBQ in Bridgeport and is was dayum good. The wife and I enjoyed it. Service was great too. Just a thought but maybe we can start a sticky on Good Eats.

Pollo Asado (grilled chicken) is located on Rigsby near W.W. White Rd. If they are grilling you can't miss the smoke next to Guadalupe Lumber. Everyone we take love it and keep going back - have a few Midnighter get togethers there ... thanks SAK5 for that recommendation.

If you feel like splurging and you're a meat eater then try Fogo de Chaio. Its a brazilian steakhouse thats all you can eat. Very pricey, but the wife and I like it.

Chauma gauda, Texas de brazil, and fogo de chaio are all the same type of food. Heard they are all great, but can only personally couch for the 1. $38 a person for us at chauma gauda.

The Wall Street bar & grill in Midland is awesome. Order the blackend orange ruffy with crawfish étouffée every time I go there and it's always amazing. Great beer selection too.

Joe's Oyster Bar

Gulf Seafood and Mini Mart - They have fresh super jumbo shrimp to take home for $13.95 a pound but the prepared food is delicious too ! Thank you for the recommendation Project Freedom we try to make this one when we visit - great to see y'all.

I asked about how long the jumbo shrimp will stay good packed in ice, the guy told me for a week, but need to keep the water drained off. I'm thinking we might get some for the Thanksgiving run..
