Our annual trip to the ranch is coming up. March 27-April 4. $20 to wheel, whether it's one day or all week. We eat like kings and the comradery is like no other trip. The wheeling is awesome as well as the scenery. If you like history, there's lots of hiking to Indian camp grounds and caves, mining camps, etc... There's fossils, sharks teeth, vertebrae, petrified wood, palmwood, fish fossils, arrow heads, etc... There is a motel at the entrance of the ranch, RV sites and Tivo's restaurant that is authentic Mexican food and is very good! Call the Longhorn Ranch Motel to make reservations.....Assuming travel isn't shut down again, like last year. My group and I will be there Sunday through Sunday. The ranch offers trails for everyone, everything from stock to full blown retard. You make it as hard or as easy as you want.

We had an awesome run as usual between eating like kings, great comradery with long time friends and some of the best wheeling Tx has to offer. I ran the Hell Bitch hard all week, day and night and the only tool I had to break out was the impact to change propane tanks. After the upgrades and tuning, I can get well over eight hours out of one propane tank and that's running it hard. I put Will's 14 yr old son behind the wheel anytime I might have had a little too much crown or beer and let him drive me around which might have been most night runs. He asked what he could or couldn't do and I just told him to point and shoot. We kept it wheels down all nine days and didn't get denied on any climb the Bitch pulled up to. Pics to follow. I'm still trying to figure out how to connect my phone to the laptop to make for an easy transfer of pics.

Someday for sure...I'm fortunate to be able to hit up Katemcy at the end of this month. Crazy hard year for me so far...way worse than 2020.

I had a minor setback right before leaving, which pushed me out one day. Found a propane leak the hard way. I had to do a quick re-wire, replace the cap/rotor and wires. It's not pretty now, but will be cleaned up and re-solder all connections now that I'm home.

It's well worth the drive! There's something to be said about being on "Terlingua Time". It's very relaxing with some awesome wheeling and trail riding. There's something for everyone, stock to wild.
