So I enjoy going out and hanging with y'all but don't get to wheel often as I can never seem to keep or finish a rig.
So I have gone to the dark side and obtained a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee
5.2l V8, 46rh automatic trans, 242 swapped tcase, 30/35 axles, sitting in a 4.5" rough country lift with 2" coil spacers for a 6.5" bastard lift, set of 33" all terrains.

Pros. Runs great, has power, potential, a/c and heat work, clean blue TX title, seats 5, and it was cheap

Cons. Dana 30/35 axles, unibody 6"lift still rubs 35s,

Current plan is as follows, beat on it like it owes me a winning Powerball ticket, upgrade along the way, and hopefully get my wife involved since it has room for her, the baby and the dogs (intend to keep it street legal enough to make it 70 miles or so to the beach ) taking some mesuments today going to maybe get some tube bent and at least a main hoop in before labor day. Cb is going in today, dropping trans and tcase on the v10 today so I can rebuild it as a precaution/upgrade going to see if the tcase will fit the lot liZard.
As for the name lot liZard, the Jeep was cheap it's an old beater that for 20-40 bucks on a weekend will show you a good time LoL

If it performs Okay may decide to get into dirt riot next year with sketchy and the struggle buggy as my co drivers/pit crew
More pictures to come and I'll see y'all at wolf caves for labor day

Nope just gonna beat on it for now no tearing it apart, technically it's all dodge components so it's still my turf aside from the axles

I got a crawl box kit coming, want to have dott make a copy of it so he can have it on file for future use/ make it as a product to sell.
Started taking measurements for the cage going to try a interior cage, 6 points minimum to keep it dirt riot eligible. Got my bendtech and bender dusted off and have about 200' of 1.75x.120 Dom in the garage.
Currently bracing for the weather headed to us (wife is freaking out about it.) It's cool tho I got to buy a small camping generator because of it.

Crawl box kit showed up this week only a little damage from the storm or poor packaging.
So the kit consists of a flat plate that bolts in place of the back half of the standard 231j transfer case, a block off plate that bolts to the flat plate and is welded in to the front half of transfer case after you cut off the front output of the transfer case.
A clocking ring that is bolted to the 2nd transfer case allowing to move the crawl box up or down a few degrees for clearance. A spider shaft that mates the crawl box planetary set to the input splines of the rear transfer case, and assorted bolts needed.
I do have a couple of transfer cases that I am going to use for this project. But first I need to get this to dott so he can take a look at it and reverse engineering it.
I will do a full tech build on it with detail overload. Also have the plans somewhere for a sweet twin stick shifter to work both boxes.last pic is the desired outcome but with hemi orange and a SYE kit.

Will spend the money on driveshaft since this will probably see some speed at dirt riot

The lot liZard was working great this weekend, much happier with it than my initial expectations. So at this time the only modifications I'm looking into is a upgraded fuel pump, trimimg up the bumpers for more clearance and getting rid of the rear sway bar. After that the crawl box, new drive shafts and a welded rear diff/ Dana 44 rear

I would add a fuel cell, some type of roll cage..
I was looking at jeepspeed stuff, man those guys have some serious coin into the rigs. I will probably do a fuel cell in the cargo area to increase departure angle. Gonna try my hand at a cage and boxing/ reinforcement of the "frame"

Yea Jason, this was while he still had the jeep 4 banger and leafs all around. Last time I help him out he was attempting to get a turbo Ford motor running and the ttb setup working properly

Talked to him a few years back about doing some photography work for him. Seemed like a pretty cool guy.

He wasn't the brightest bulb in the Crayola box but he could drive pretty good, and his brother had a sweet 72 Chevy truck
