I've been talking about this build forever and finally decided to get off my butt and get started on it. This will be my first group up Chassis build so don't expect too much.

Plans are:

Small single seater
1.6 on pane
3 speed Auto or 5 peed
6.5 to 1 TC
Narrowed Dana 60 Front
Built 9" rear axle
2 1/2 Air shocks
4 linked front and back

The wife has expressed interest in having her own rig being there are a few women drivers in our group so it's time to stop talking about building one. This will be a slow build but I'm trying to keep it from looking like something a 3 year old would build. And yes, I'll be using bricks, broom handles and other odd ball objects to help mock parts up. Just throwing that out there for all the tech gods. LOL

This just gives you an ideal of what it's going to look like at the driver door. I still need to come up with something on the back for the propane bottle.

Got a little more done last night. Pulled off some of the tubes and re notched them for a better fit. Bending the tube is a breeze. It's the notching that kicks my ass.

Got a little bit more done over the weekend. It's taking shape.

I'm going to charge admission to watch me get in and out of this thing.

On a good note I'm getting better at the damn notching. Fawk a tube notcher. I have better luck with using a cut off wheel and grinder.

Looking really good Chris. Is this going to be for your wife or she taking over th rig?
I think I'll let her drive this one. The viability will be better and this one will have a seat slider. Regardless it makes it easier to throw money at it with her on my side.
